Dr. Howard Gurr has earned two Masters degrees in psychology and a Ph.D. in Professional Psychology with a dual specialization in Clinical and School Psychology. He is both a certified school psychologist and a licensed psychologist in New York State. Dr. Gurr also has earned the Board Certified–TeleMental Health Provider (BC-TMH) credential through the Center for Credentialing & Education (CCE).
For over 30 years, Dr. Howard Gurr has been affiliated with hospitals, clinics, and school districts on Long Island. Dr. Howard Gurr is a member of many professional groups. Dr. Howard Gurr has been a field supervisor for graduate students from local colleges and universities. He has written articles, been quoted in newspapers, heard on the radio and seen on television on a wide variety of psychologically related topics.

Dr. Robbin S. Gurr earned a Masters degree in School Psychology in 1980 from Hofstra University. She went on to earn a Ph.D. in Professional Psychology with a dual specialization in Clinical and School Psychology. Dr. Robbin Schneider Gurr is both a certified school psychologist and a licensed psychologist in New York State. She has worked in both capacities for many years. In addition, Dr. Robbin Schneider Gurr is certified as a specialist in the treatment of alcohol and other psychoactive substance use by the National Certification Commission for Addiction Professionals.
